A great cross-body purse, this crochet pattern was just released in my Ravelry Store.
A little over a year ago my sister in law asked me if I could make a purse for her. She knew an approximate size she wanted and the colors, but other than that I had freedom of design. I quick made it, added a zipper and lining and Stephanie’s Purse was born! I had hoped she would LOVE it and she did!!
So for the last year I kept telling myself “I need to write this down!” Well I finally got around to doing it last month. I think I got it pretty close to what I did the first time around and as a purse addict myself, I feel it is a very pretty and practical accessory.
The purse is a generous 15 1/2 X 10 inches (not including the strap) leaving lots of room to fit all your essentials but at the same time not so big that it looks bulky. I made the strap long enough to make it a comfortable cross-body but if you prefer, you can adjust the pattern to shorten it up to the length that’s comfortable for you.

This purse is an enjoyable, interesting project. I’ve already started on a second one and foresee more color combinations in the future. I love this pattern!
