FF5 – Back to School Favorites

FF5 Graphic Back to SchoolI almost fell over last week when I walked into the store and all the Back to School displays are out in full force. Already? Really? I thought summer just started! But then again I live in Minnesota, so yeah, it did just start. Well here you go, just a few fun back to school ideas to work on.

1) This cute PENCIL CASE by Kara Gunza of Petals to Picots is a great free pattern for all your back to school kids. And as a crocheter, I’m thinking of making one to keep my spare hooks in as well ūüôā

2) The BACK TO SCHOOL SET by Too Yarn Cute is a paid pattern that includes both a book cover and matching pencil case. I like the fact that you can adjust the size of the book cover to fit any size hardcover book.

3) The next free pattern comes from Lion Brand Yarn. It’s the¬†STATE FAIR BACKPACK¬†and is perfect for keeping your school things together and portable, not to mention stylish.

4) Another great free pattern comes from Carolyn of The Purple Poncho. THE BACK TO SCHOOL BEANIE includes reflective yarn to keep your child visible. How awesome is that!

5) And finally the SCHOOL SPIRIT JAR COZY is a fabulous way to re-purpose those jars into something cute, colorful and useful! This free pattern comes to us from Danyel Pink of Danyel Pink Designs.

Paper Crafts Supplies

I hope you enjoy these as a start to your back to school planning. They are all quick and simple so you can take them along with you to those last camping trips and baseball games of the summer to work on. This makes them the perfect summertime projects.
